Data Privacy Commitment

At TypeSentry, we believe that your emails are your private business. Our mission is to secure your communication without ever becoming a part of it. This policy outlines our commitment to data minimization and transparency.

No Server-Side Email Storage

**TypeSentry does not store the content of your emails on our servers.**

All real-time scanning happens in-memory or via transient secure API calls. Once a scan is complete, the content is purged from the processing environment. We do not build databases of your drafts, sent items, or attachments.

What We Collect

We only collect metadata necessary for the operation of the service and billing management:

Account information (Name, Email, Organization).
Usage statistics (Number of scans performed, active seats).
System logs for troubleshooting (Redacted to remove any PII).
Configuration settings (Rules, AI model preferences).

Data Processing

Data processing occurs within secure, encrypted environments. For enterprise customers, we support regional data residency to comply with local laws such as KVKK (Turkey) and GDPR (EU).

AI & Large Language Models

When using AI-powered scanning, e-mail content is sent to the LLM provider (e.g., OpenAI, Vercel AI Gateway) via an encrypted tunnel. We configure these integrations to ensure that your data is **not used for model training** by third parties.
